モンティ・パイソンはべつとして、極私的に最もうれしかったのは、なんといっても、エミリー・サンディのフィーチャーぶりでしたね。とくについ先日我がブログでスポットライトを当て、V13のNo.1へ昇りつめてもいる“Read All About It (Part III)”がセレモニーのイントロダクションで歌われたのには、ゾクッといたしました。

というわけで、2007年の“Concert For Diana”を始め、テイク・ザットのツアーなどで知られる、現在英国有数のコレオグラファーにして、クリエイティヴなイヴェント・ディレクター、キム・ギャヴィンがアート・ディレクションを司り、‘007’の一連作を始め、“Independence Day”等映画音楽中心のコンポーザー、デイヴィッド・アーノルドがミュージック・ディレクターをつとめた、ロンドン・オリンピック・クロージング・セレモニー“A Symphony Of British Music”(英国音楽交響曲)。
